I never had the wit nor the time to make the small compediums canismajoris used to do so I'll end this news with a picture since a picture usually says more then a thousand words.
YOU are chosen.
I like brown penis in mouth, give call.

For to end yet again. 27 May 2009, 12:47

Aphase was formed on 23rd of May 2008. Aphase quits 25-man raiding, 370 days later, on May 27th 2009. And as you might know, all good - and bad things come to and end.
I joined the guild exactly 365 days ago. What a journey it has been. Too many people to thank. Too many people to hate. Too many people to reminisce - with joy and sadness, for years to come. Thank you for everything, I hope you enjoyed the ride.
All dreams end here Where our cries began Resounding to museums Of a world we believed Neverending
And we stop Exhausted Beginning Not again
And the panic Like the light Of some star Exploding
Flashing in black holes of not knowing If we ever made a away out of this mud?
Here's something for you guys:
We certainly had way too much of this:

Who said I was entirely obsessed with Natrii?

Never enough of this:

Menoann was it.

New Guildmaster for real. 11 May 2009, 01:06

Yup, it's not Valadra this time. I'm relinquishing the duties of the Guildmaster to the tiny work mule from Bulgaria, Drooly. The real force in keeping the guild alive and breathing, through troubled times, thick and thin - since last summer.
Application: Drooly, 70 Mage Tuesday, July 15, 2008 - 12:37 AM http://aphase.wowstead.com/forums/thread/78 - there you can view his original cute application to the guild! New applicants - take note of the grammar, and the time spent on answering the questions.
And yes, I'll be quitting World of Warcraft as well in due time.
After a break in World of Warcraft due to a burn-out, on another server in guild-leading duties, I rerolled here on Neptulon around 12 months ago. April 2008. I vouched myself not to get into any leading-related crap any longer, and I was happy with choosing the rogue as a laid back DPS'er. I thought of fun raiding without putting too much stress into it. And what do you know.
First guild I joined with sad gear, but with sweet-talking myself into it, was FURY. A raid or two materialized there. After that break from raiding, the actual feeling of a raid felt oh-so-great. I was bitten by the raiding bug again. (No, not the badge-bug). And thank you Elgemannen for getting this Finn in, after a proper interview. I was truly excited about raiding. Sadly enough, FURY wasn't the guild for me, it seems I longed for more than it could offer me.
So, Aphase was born, without my knowledge a week or so after I quit in FURY, from the remnants of some other guild, and it's leaders. It was five days old when I joined, and the first enthusiasm in getting shit together had already failed by it's officers. They just couldn't go through progressing in Tier 5 content again, with so many new members, so all of them quit. Or so I heard. Only one guy was pushing for the raids, a friend of those Tier 6-geared people. He was goddamn getting people off the trade channel - instantly sending them to the raids. Aphases fame and the trick to get people in the guild was solely lying on the fact that there was Tier 6 geared people on the first ever raid - killing a boss or two off Mount Hyjal.
Two minutes of discussion, I was in the guild. Twenty minutes of being in the guild, I was in a raid. Two hours later, I was co-raidleading. Two days and I was an officer.
No proper interviews, no applications, no forums, no website, a borrowed vent from the remnants of the older guild - nobody knew when the vents lease was ending - or where the guy who was paying the vent went. My god what a start for a guild.
So, things were run terribly, and I just couldn't keep my mouth shut. I had to help, I thought that this wouldn't be going anywhere otherwise. I had to organize and construct. I had to lead. So, eventually I guess I took over completely.
http://aphase.wowstead.com/news/7 a wonderful archive on how things started rolling then. No, we didn't have Tier 6 geared people. We had totally shit people, 10-15 guys leaving and joining the guild every week. But the core began to form. We actually got the shit running. I couldn't believe it, we actually got it running. I still can't believe it.
So, here we are, an expansion later, standing strong as one of the best and most organized guilds on the server.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel towards every single player who was there to help create Aphase what it is. Words cannot express the sadness and the feeling of nostalgia now that I'm quitting World of Warcraft.
It's not trying to reach a destination, but enjoying the journey. And what a journey it was for me. Your journey still continues.
Yeah, cat pics have never hurt anybody.

12/14 Ulduar and boring. 06 May 2009, 15:24

Well, we were truly fucked with the recent brush of old core members quitting the game due to work and other real life issues, and those kind of induced problems with the attendance.
The reset was interesting to say the least, on Wednesday up to Mimiron with barely 25 online, then the First of May/Walpurgis-celebrations and the small related holiday, problems with the activity up until the last day of the reset, Tuesday, where we actually rolled with one fifth of the raid as new trials.
It seems the debate over the holiday, and carefully going over the applications over a few days paid off - as the new trials seemed to blend in like a hot knife into an ice cream.
The task shurely wasn't easy - Mimiron as the first boss to learn with a new guild - where all of the recruits hadn't even stepped in before. Coquet as a new member even tanking in phase 3-4, and Scourthelife not even dying on the Shock Blasts as a melee. Quite an experience - not to mention that some of our healers were slacking, and we had to work with couple of offspec healers as well.
So, without further ado, welcome Coquet aka Cock (no pun intended), Hazed, Scourthelife and Babche.. or was it Bibche, Bobche? Whatever.
Oh yeah, and we ended the raid with killing a new boss in a couple of tries as well.
